Having been locked down in our own houses for St George's Day 2020, It was lovely to be all together again for our special day in 2021.
In today's Stations of the Cross we are thinking about Jesus dying on the cross and when they took his body down and placed it in the tomb.
As we come towards the end of Jesus journey with His cross we remember some of the people he spoke to that day; the good thief, his mother Mary, and his good friend John.
Simon helps Jesus to carry his cross, Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem and Jesus is nailed to the cross.
Jesus is condemned to death, Jesus is crowned with thorns and Jesus takes up his cross.
Year 4 lead us in remembering the last days before Jesus' death on the first Good Friday. In Part 1 we think about Jesus eating the Passover with his friends; Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemene and Jesus being arrested.
